Students are well served by the options available to them in the region for post 16 education with a wide range of education and training providers on offer.  This list gives some of those organisations, and we are always happy to add new providers.

TBOWA 6th Form

Offering a range of A Level and BTEC subjects complimented by a comprehensive enrichment programme.

 

Bournemouth & Poole College

A well established educational provider which delivers further education, higher education and community based courses in Bournemouth and in Poole.  Students can choose vocational courses up to Level 3 extended diploma level after their GCSEs or follow a range of apprenticeship pathways.

Brockenhurst College

A further education college situation in the New Forest offering a wide range of A Level and vocational courses and a range of apprenticeship pathways, in addition to adult education and community and leisure courses.

Kingston Maurward College

Based in Dorchester they offer a wide range of further and higher education courses with a strong focus on land-based, marine and animal welfare, and conservation subject areas, as well as a range of apprenticeship pathways.

Sparsholt College

Based near Winchester they offer land-based, conservation and animal management including zoology and wildlife pathways.  There is a University centre offering degree and foundation degree subjects including zoo science and veterinary nursing.

Bournemouth Academy of Modern Music

Offering Level 3 extended diploma courses in music performance and music technology.

Rockley College

Offering Level 2 and 3 courses in sport with a water and land-based outdoor adventure focus.  There is an Instructor apprenticeship pathway.

The Dorset School of Acting

Offering 2 year vocational sixth form in acting at Level 3.

The Dorset Foundation College for Performing Arts

Offering Level 3 extended diploma course in performing arts. 

Summerwood Campus

Part of Linwood School, it is an autism specific and friendly environment designed to meet the needs of autistic young people working at age related expectations.

SWRAC 

Working with young adults aged between 16 & 30 with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) and with young adults who are 16-18 and who would benefit from an alternative education provision to mainstream school or college.
