Key Stage 5 Results 2022

We are delighted with the results of our students, who have worked so hard this year to achieve success and have delivered our best ever results for the Academy.

40.2% of all entries achieving A*-A (or equivalent) and 39.2% of our students achieved an A*-A and 60.8% an A*-B grade at A level. 21% of students secured a place at a Russell Group university including Oxford and Cambridge.

This year group coped exceptionally well with the challenges through two lockdowns and other times of self-isolation. Our online provision ensured that all students were supported and that they engaged really well. They worked hard throughout their two years and dealt with the pressure extremely well. They truly deserve their exceptional results.

These achievements are the result of the hard work put in by students, but also by TBOWA teaching staff. Students leave us having benefitted from our programme of support and career guidance, designed to ensure students will be able to ‘Live life to the full’.
