Exams
A Level Results Day
A Level results day is Thursday 14th August 2025 and students will be able to collect results from 8.00am.
GCSE Results Day
GCSE results day is Thursday 21st August 2025 and students will be able to collect results between 8.30am – 10.30am.
If students are unable to attend on results day, there are 2 options available to them:
- To receive an electronic copy of results, please email leavers2025@tbowa.org with their name and student number. Please note, results will be emailed by midday to school email accounts only (not private or parental email accounts).
- Students can nominate someone to collect results on their behalf, but they must email leavers2025@tbowa.org before results day from their school email account to put this in place. The results envelope will be available to collect from 9.30am to 11am at reception. The nominated person must bring photographic identification, for example a driving licence or passport. Please note that if the nominated person comes without photographic identification, they will not be permitted to collect the results.
Please see JCQ infographic below for information about post-results services.
Certificates
Certificates will be available by the end of November. Information regarding collection will be sent out during the Autumn term.
Certificates must be collected and signed for by the student. If a student would like somebody else to collect the certificates on their behalf (e.g. parent, sibling), they must provide the person with a signed letter of authority. The nominated person must also bring photographic identification, for example a driving licence, passport, student ID card.
It is really important that the certificates are collected as they will be required in the future when applying for employment, university and training.
JCQ regulations state that schools should keep certificates for 12 months. If they remain uncollected they may be disposed of securely.
Please note, it is not our policy to post uncollected certificates.
Replacement Certificates
Exam boards will not provide copies of certificates which have been lost or never claimed. However, you can apply for a Certified Statement of results, which can be used in the same way as a certificate. All exam boards charge a fee for this service, and you will need to make applications to each exam board via their websites:
