We are delighted to welcome you to our open evening for students starting year 7 in September 2026.
The academy's doors open to visitors from 5:00-7:30pm with Principal's address at 5.30pm and repeated at 6.30pm. You do not need to register to attend.
Students at the ‘Bishop’ thrive in a culture that is driven by ‘High Expectations – No Excuses’. Our ‘ambitious curriculum’, ‘impressive range of extra-curricular activities’ and ‘wider opportunities’ support all to ‘Live Life to the Full’. This was recognised by Ofsted (2023).
Our high quality careers progamme starts in Year 7. ‘Leaders are aspirational for pupils’, ‘many achieve places at highly selective universities’ (Ofsted 2023) or competitive apprenticeships.
Our extensive new buildings provide a 21st century learning experience, rich in IT.
Our unique Christian ethos gives us a family feel where all are valued and encouraged to develop a sense of self-worth, pride in achievement and self confidence to make their own decisions.

For September 2026 year 7 starters
Following our open evening, tours for parents and current year 6 children will be offered on the following Thursday's in October 2025.
Arrive from 9:00am for a welcome from a senior leader; group tour 9:15-10:15am.
