Emergency Planning and Response

Every emergency is different but, in all cases, the educational and wellbeing of our student is paramount.   The academy always seeks to minimise the amount and length of any disruption, including maximising the number of students who are in face-to-face provision. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children remains of paramount importance.

Whilst the academy seeks to keep the school open for as many students as possible at all times, in some situations it may be necessary to prioritise face-to-face provision for our vulnerable students and children of critical workers (definition of critical workers can be found here).

We will always communicate with parents and carers when our provision may be affected.
