The Bishop of Winchester Academy welcomes applications for young people of all faiths and no faith for places in our secondary school and 6th Form. 

If you are considering making an application you will be able to view the policy below.  Applications for admission to the secondary school should be made through the Local Authority Admissions Team, with Supplementary Information Forms being submitted to ourselves. 

Applications for admission for primary to secondary transition should be made by 31st October of each academic year to your own local authority admissions team. 

Applications for in-year admissions should be made to BCP Council Admissions Team.

For places in our 6th Form please apply directly to the 6th Form at 6th Form Application

Admissions 2025–2026

If your child's date of birth is between 01.09.2014 and 31.08.2015, they will start secondary school in September 2026 and the closing date for on-time applications is 31^st October 2025.

The Coastal Association of School Appeals (CASAppeals) is an independent service that allows parents to appeal against refusal of an admission application.
