Access Careers Resources

To support students, teachers and parents/guardians, we have brought together a range of resources to help with careers research and planning.  These can be found in the menu sections on the left.

By the end of year 11, students will  have attended a careers guidance appointment with a level 6 qualified careers adviser and further opportunities for appointments are made available should you progress to our sixth form. Of course, you can request an appointment at any time and we would like you to be aware that students can access an online advisor via the National Careers Service from 8 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week.

To compliment the online resources we have created a section for Careers and Aspirations in the academy library. We have selected a range of books to inspire students, encouraging them to believe that anything is possible for their lives, and to provide the tools to help with reaching careers decisions.  There is also practical guidance on creating CVs or personal statements and acing interviews or assessment centres.
